Hiya! I'm Mario, a lifelong music lover with a passion for photography. I grew up in the south of Italy, where I'm currently based, but it was in Dublin that I began blending my two biggest passions. You’ll find me in crowds and pits all over Europe – and sometimes even further afield. I was raised on punk rock, then I found a love for folk music and singer-songwriters in my twenties. All in all, I believe in the power of three chords and the truth. I am always drawn to authentic narratives, visceral emotions, and pure energy. When I’m photographing, I’m after those rare moments when the person on stage and their persona switch places – trying to capture that split-second where it’s just them and their music.
