Sean Paul Raises the “Temperature” in Amsterdam

While spring is slowly defrosting in The Netherlands, Sean Paul was ready to take the temperature up a notch in Amsterdam, debuting in the Ziggo Dome on February 24th, 2026. While they closed off the upper ring of the venue, the first ring and standing places were filled with people ready to see this Jamaican icon live. For this show DJ duo Tribal Kush started the evening, warming up the crowd.

Just past 9PM Sean Paul’s DJ duo walked out on stage, turning up the music and hyping up the crowd. After a few minutes of “Are you ready for Sean Paul?” and “Sean Paul is in the building!” the crowd first got Terrence Farenizzi Harold, who took over the stage for a few minutes to kill some time. A few minutes later Sean Paul walked out on stage to loud cheers from the crowd. The set started with “So Fine,” followed by throwing it back to 2002, with his hit “Get Busy” from his album Dutty Rock. Next up was 2005’s “Ever Blazin’.” He then took off his jacket, revealing a shirt from his own merch.

While Sean Paul has plenty of songs from himself, he also featured on a lot of songs from other artists. If you were not familiar with him, you surely recognized the next few songs. First up was Sia’s “Cheap Thrills,” followed by Beyonce’s “Baby Boy” and ending this little feature trio with the English version of Enrique Iglesias’ “Bailando.” While Sean Paul gained popularity in the early 2000s, the crowd was filled with fans from multiple generations. He himself also aged throughout the years, but even now as a 53 year old, he showed off his dance moves to the crowd. On stage he was joined by two female dancers, wearing red body suits. For several songs they held up small Jamaican flags during their choreographies. Multiple merch shirts were taped up into bundles, making them easier to be thrown into the crowd throughout the night. Multiple times he addressed the ladies in the crowd, asking them to scream for him and show off their dance moves. Hits like “Give It Up To Me” and “Got 2 Luv U” also made their way into the setlist of the night. The crowd went crazy during “Like Glue,” also from his 2002 album Dutty Rock.

The night ended with the two songs the fans were seemingly most excited to hear live: “She Doesn’t Mind” and “Temperature.” The crowd clapped along where needed and took this final moment to dance out all their left over energy and jump up and down. At the end of the set green and yellow confetti was blown all over the crowd.
