On June 14, 2025, San Diego’s House of Blues was deep-fried and served hot ‘n spicy as Mac Sabbath brought their dinner rock revolution to town for one of three Southern California shows over Father’s Day weekend. The run of shows celebrated the band’s eleven years in the game and the guys show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The quartet dished out an unforgettable show that was equal parts heavy metal and fast-food comedy entertainment, making it a fun filled evening for all ages. What a wonderful way to continue House Of Blue’s 20 year celebration!

Fronted by the theatrical Ronald Osbourne, backed by Slayer MacCheeze on guitar, Grimalice on bass, and The Catburglar on drums, Mac Sabbath took the stage with their signature drive-thru metal melodies. The seamless blend of Black Sabbath parody and fast-food puns captivated the room packed with Black Sabbath fans, fast-food themed cosplay, and curious newcomers alike. This was no gimmick or simple parody… It was a tight, creative homage to classic heavy metal with a deliciously greasy twist. From “Frying Pan” (their take on “Iron Man” to the crowd-favorite “Pair-a-Buns” (a Mac version of “Paranoid”), the band’s setlist was stuffed with reimagined Sabbath staples, theatrical flair and food-fueled madness. The show peaked with their defiant anthem “Fries Above,” featuring a guest appearance by their “Employee of the Month,” who snuck in for some screaming vocals, only to be chased off by Ronald.

Even ten years into their mission, there are no signs of Mac Sabbath slowing down. Their performance was surreal, hilarious, and legitimately rock solid proof that you don’t need to take yourself too seriously to deliver a killer show. With low ticket prices, high production, and enough bizarre magic to make you question reality, Mac Sabbath continues to be one of the most unique live acts on the touring circuit. The guys will head out this fall for another run along the west coast kicking off Thursday, September 4 in San Louis Obispo CA stretching to Salem Oregon on Sept 13. Don’t miss out!
