This past Saturday night, Black Veil Brides kicked off their 2026 North American tour in Riverside, California at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium for a packed night filled with nostalgia and a look into the next chapter for the band.

Joining them on this tour is As December Falls, TX2, and From Ashes To New. This tour is actually As December Falls’ first American tour. They kicked off the night with amazing energy, and it’s safe to say they received a very loud and warm welcome to the States! Next up was TX2, the young band who’s been taking the scene by storm. This was my first time seeing TX2 live, and I was thoroughly impressed — the energy they brought was unmatched. Lead vocalist Evan Thomas even jumped into the crowd for one song.

As the night went on, From Ashes To New took the stage. This was one band in particular that I was excited to see, as I’ve been a big fan of their music for years. Vocalists Danny Case and Matt Brandyberry are truly a duo that meshes so well together, both bringing insane energy that had the crowd on their feet the entire set! They performed hit songs like “Panic,” “Barely Breathing,” and “Nightmare,” while also making sure to perform new music from their brand new album Reflections, which released on April 17th, with my personal favorite being “Die For You.”

The lights dimmed, and it was time for the band that everyone was waiting for — the legendary Black Veil Brides. Each member came to the stage one by one, with lead vocalist Andy Biersack coming out last. Immediately upon taking the stage, they went into their iconic song “Knives and Pens,” which, as a longtime fan, I was so excited was the song they chose to kick off the show. They also performed hit songs like “Wake Up,” “Bleeders,” and “Rebel Love Song,” including live debuts of some songs off their new album VINDICATE, which releases in just eight days on May 8th, including “Vindicate,” “Certainty,” “Revenger,” and “Ritual.”

Throughout the night, lead vocalist Andy Biersack took moments to talk to the crowd — specifically one moment where he thanked them for sticking with the band for so long and listening to their music even when it was a trend to not like them. He explained that without the fans, they wouldn’t get to do what they love or have had this longevity.

Closing out the night, they performed “In The End,” which is one of my personal favorites. Black Veil Brides has always held such a special place in my heart. I listened to their music religiously in middle school, and they got me through some really challenging times, so getting the opportunity to photograph them this past Saturday was truly something special, and I will never forget it.
This tour just started, so you have plenty of dates to choose from to catch them live. I promise it’s a show you don’t want to miss with such a stacked lineup of incredible bands, so make sure to get there early and support the openers!
