Austin City Limits has been bringing great music to Texas for a long time now, and this year’s 25th anniversary edition is no exception. Taking place at the tail end of festival season in the US on October 2-4 and 9-11, the 2026 lineup is diverse enough for anyone to find something that they will enjoy. For those really looking to make a trip out of the festival, downtown Austin has tons to offer, and the split undercard lineup across the two weekends means you could have two entirely unique festival weekends.
Friday, fans can check out headliner Charli XCX, who has taken over pop culture with her breakout album BRAT and her newly-released full-length album Music, Fashion, Film. Other highlights that day are a mix between dance, electronic, rock, and more with Turnstile, The Chainsmokers, Paris Paloma, Leon Thomas, and more. Friday also brings the only headliner split across the two weekends, with Skrillex performing weekend one, and Kings of Leon playing weekend two.
Saturday has lots of incredibly talented women at the top of the lineup, including Lorde, Lola Young, Young Miko, and Suki Waterhouse. Rüfüs Du Sol will be the dance headliner on Saturday to keep up ACL’s strong EDM lineup they bring each year. Other highlights on Saturday include Jack Antonoff’s music project Bleachers, Snow Strippers, Balu Brigada, Finn Wolfhard, and Annie Dirusso.
Sunday at ACL brings us back to the 2010s for headlining sets by Twenty One Pilots and The XX. Both bands are in the midst of their own renaissances right now, with Twenty One Pilots exploding in popularity after their back to back album run with Clancy in 2024 and Breach in 2025, and The XX reuniting to play shows for the first time this year after an 8-year hiatus. Other notable performers that day include jam band Geese, DJ duo Sofi Tukker, r&b artist Blood Orange, Audrey Hobert, and Underscores (weekend 1).
Another side of the festival is ACL’s smallest stage, the Bonus Tracks stage, which hosts additional content like interviews, podcasts, cooking demos, drag performances, and more. Past appearances included Billie Eilish, Noah Cyrus, Japanese Breakfast, and The Beaches, in addition to surprise acoustic sets from artists on the lineup. There will of course also be a wide selection of “ACL Eats” food and drink options, from local BBQ to vegan and vegetarian options for all attendees to enjoy.
