After attending last year’s edition, this year’s Pukkelpop has a lot to offer again. This year the festival in Hasselt, Belgium will be starting on August 20th and concluding on the 23rd. They are already onto their 39th edition, so next year will be a milestone worth celebrating. Back to this year first, with promising bands and artists on the line-up, it will surely be one to remember.
The line-up for Thursday has not been announced yet, but if we can go off from last year this day will probably be filled with more local artists, from both Belgium and The Netherlands. The other three days have some killer line-ups already, with some very exciting names.
With headlining artists Yungblud, Florence + The Machine and Tyler. The Creator, they managed to pull together a very varied line-up. Whether you are into heavier music, are coming for all the pop, love hip-hop or are more into techno, Pukkelpop made sure to cater to everyone’s needs.

Refreshing to see is the amount of females who have made it into this year’s line-up, such as Nxdia, Lambrini Girls, Alessi Rose, Wet Leg, Audrey Nuna and of course pop queen of the moment Zara Larsson. Many more are to be found during the (for now) three days worth of shows, which are too many to be named!
Tickets have already been sold-out since March, but if you can already feel the incoming fomo, Pukkelpop has some tips to make sure you don’t fall for scams trying to obtain a ticket. They have made a special Ticket Meet-Up Page: https://tickets.pukkelpop.be/en/meetup/ , where you can register to sell a ticket from the 23rd of July and search for a ticket from the 30th. From then you can also request a name change on the tickets, as the name on the ticket and the person who is attending must be the same. To keep it fair, the maximum sellers can ask for a ticket is the original price. No scalpers allowed at Pukkelpop!
The festival has their own handy dandy app, to keep you updated before as well as during the festival. If you are (intending) to attend Pukkelpop, it might be worth looking into and already start making a favorites list of which artists you really want to see. May the upcoming timetable treat you nicely and not have too many heartbreaking clashes!
