To Write Love On Her Arms Celebrates 20 Years of Transforming Lives with Pre-Warped Documentary Screening

June 29, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Rooted in the Vans Warped Tour community, the life-changing mental health non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) will celebrate its 20th anniversary the weekend of the festival’s Long Beach dates next month. Join the many artists, advocates, and partners who have helped to amplify its mission over the years at a special screening of their powerful documentary “To Write Love” on Friday, July 24th from 7-8PM PT at the Art Theater of Long Beach (2025 E 4th Street).

Following the film, TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski will be joined by Vans Warped Tour Founder, Kevin Lyman, and other special guests for an honest conversation about what it took to get here and why this work still matters. Every ticket, every seat filled, and every person in that room moves the organization closer to reaching their goal of funding 20,000 hours of mental health care.

Tickets are available to purchase now at the LINK HERE.

All proceeds will directly help fund mental health care this year through our Treatment & Recovery Program.

The documentary explores what happens when vulnerability becomes action and how you can play a role in getting people the help they need and deserve. It’s a story of a growing chorus of hope that turned into a lifeline for millions. It weaves together conversations with some of the organization’s most influential supporters — including Paramore, Miley Cyrus, Anberlin, Switchfoot, and more — with the voices who work tirelessly every day to bring resources to those in need. You’ll hear from the people that started it all, those whose lives were changed, and the dedicated individuals who continue to make honest conversations and accessible care possible decades later.

“We’re incredibly grateful to celebrate 20 years and to share the ongoing story of this movement. The documentary weaves together the voices of the people who kept fighting for this conversation, for their own stories, and for their communities. What you experience in this film is a true picture of what happens when thousands of people start to believe that it’s not weak to ask for help, and that sharing our stories gives others permission and courage to do the same. This movement has played a significant part in why the conversations around mental health are no longer ones people feel they have to keep quiet. We made this documentary with the hope that it moves anyone still sitting in silence. We want people to know that hope is real, help is real, and your story matters.” — Lindsay Kolsch, Executive Director
