3OH!3 Paints Anaheim with Gold

3OH!3’s sold-out stop at the House of Blues Anaheim on December 4 felt less like a concert and more like a time machine with a fully stocked dance floor and zero intention of slowing down. Joined by Breathe Carolina and Millionaire$, the night was a fantastic celebration of scene-era nostalgia, chaotic joy, and unapologetic party energy.

Millionaire$ (Franny Kovacs)

Millionaire$ kicked things off and wasted no time setting the tone. From the moment the dynamic duo hit the stage, the room was instantly transported back to the glory days of 2010 MySpace culture. Their set delivered professional party girl vibes from start to finish, leaning hard into the songs that defined the era. Crowd favorites like “Take Your Shirt Off” and “Party Like a Millionaire” got the pit moving and grooving while their  beloved “Alcohol,” sent the audience into full screaming chaos. It was sweaty, loud, and nostalgic in the best way possible.

Breathe Carolina followed, featuring original vocalist David Schmitt, who sounded absolutely phenomenal. Backed by a live guitarist and drummer, the set took on a stripped-down, raw, and authentic feel that the crowd immediately latched onto. Schmitt fed off the audience’s energy, bouncing across the stage with infectious enthusiasm that only amplified the performance. Longtime favorites like “Last Night (Vegas)” and “I.D.G.A.F.” hit hard, while their smash hit “Blackout” — still every bit the summer anthem of 2011 — had the entire venue moving as one. The live instrumentation added a new depth to songs fans have loved for years, making the set feel both familiar and refreshingly alive.

By the time 3OH!3 took the stage, the audience was more than ready. Before the first note was played, gold beads were passed through the crowd, immediately transforming the venue into a full-on party. The band understood the assignment perfectly as vocalists Nate Motte and Sean Foreman made their dramatic entrance, tossing a small inflatable jet ski into the crowd to set the tone for what was about to unfold.

Celebrating 15 years of Streets of Gold, 3OH!3 performed the album in full which was a dream setlist moment for longtime fans. They kicked things off with “Beaumont,” a song that hadn’t appeared on their setlist since 2011, signaling early on that this night was all about deep cuts, throwbacks, and fan service. Nearly every song felt like a long-lost favorite resurrected for one massive, collective sing-along.

The duo also debuted their brand-new single, “HIT ME HARDER,” which fits seamlessly into their catalog. A sonic callback to their earliest releases, the track blends electro-rap, dance, and rock in a way that feels both nostalgic and current. It was proof that while 3OH!3 is honoring their past, they’re far from done evolving.

As the night raced toward its finale, the band reminded everyone why their legacy continues to thrive. Platinum-certified anthems like “STARSTRUKK” and “My First Kiss” still hit just as hard, and the closing moments with the legendary “DONTTRUSTME” sent the Anaheim crowd OFF like I had never seen before. Fifteen years later, these songs haven’t lost a shred of their power: they’ve only gained new life through a new generation of fans.

If you ever get the chance to see 3OH!3 live, don’t miss it. The band recently announced appearances at Welcome to Rockville in May 2026 and their make-up show at Brooklyn Bowl on January 2. And if history tells us anything, new music usually means a new tour so stay tuned for more chances to party with the professionals.
