X Ambassadors, the American alt-rock band from Ithaca, New York, recently brought the VHS(X) tour to Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York. The band, consisting of Sam Harris (lead vocalist), Casey Harris (keyboardist), and Adam Levin (drummer), is currently on a North American headline run celebrating the 10th anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album VHS. VHS(X), released earlier this summer, features newly recorded versions of all original tracks from VHS, including “Unsteady,” “Gorgeous,” “Jungle,” and most notably “Renegades.” A re-recording of that hit single that launched the band into the spotlight is a highlight.

Starting off the evening was singer-songwriter Delacey, the LA-based artist and multi-hyphenate known for penning hits performed by the likes of Halsey, The Chainsmokers, Demi Lovato, and Maren Morris. Delacey played a setlist including singles like “My Man,” “Lipstick,” and “Trouble,” all of which drew in the crowd with her powerful storytelling, raw lyricism, and commanding stage presence.

Proudly showcasing a decade marked by strong commercial success, X Ambassadors took the stage and immediately demonstrated their electric live energy. Lead vocalist Sam Harris’s commanding stage presence and powerful vocals were the highlight of the evening, as was the band’s intense connection with their fans as they played through the album which catapulted them to success.
Catch X Ambassadors on the road on the remaining dates of their VHS(X) tour.
