Act 1: Lime Cordiale
Lime Cordiale immediately created an energetic and playful atmosphere for the evening. The audience was immediately drawn to the dance by the band’s contagious energy and lively music from the very first note. The stage featured a sleek digital sign displaying the band’s name, while a pulsing visualizer and stunning colors turned the venue into a lively party space.
The performers projected a dynamic stage presence coupled with a playful sense of humor. All band members showed deep passion as they invested their energy into performing every song and enjoying playful moments. They performed shirt twirls together, sharing laughs and turning any small mistake into a moment of shared amusement. Audience interaction was where they truly shined.
The performance turned into an exciting game when the crowd divided into two groups to support each of the Leimbach brothers as they interacted with their fans. A referee dressed as a boxer joined the performance, which contributed a hilarious element to the atmosphere.
The stage was set to give the Leimbach brothers ample movement space to engage with their audience. They showcase their multi-instrumental skills by effortlessly switching instruments during performances. Their playful version of “I Touch Myself” by The Divinyls maintained the original song’s core while adding a humorous element. Lime Cordiale provided a fun-filled performance throughout their set, demonstrating exceptional talent. Almost instantly, you could see audience members unaware of this band become lifelong fans.
The entire audience comprised of both newcomers and old fans joined together to sing along and dance while waving their hands high to share in collective happiness.
Act 2: Tash Sultana
During Tash Sultana set the atmosphere changed as she demonstrated a richer and more enveloping sound experience. The show’s lighting created a standout experience through the use of lasers, strobes and a massive visual backdrop that produced a dynamic canvas behind her. Every corner of the venue became a source of light beams that enhanced the listening experience.
The stage was set to highlight Tash Sultana and showcase a massive, open-mouthed graphic that dominated the backdrop behind the drum set, while checkered risers outlined the setup, and LED strips lit the edges. Tash dominated center stage with her impressive setup, which included a small drum kit, chimes, keyboard, drum machine, horns and her guitar.
During the first fifteen minutes of the show, Tash remained mostly stationary behind her instruments. Her voice delivered perfect accuracy when compared to her album, while her instrumental prowess provided an engaging visual spectacle. The polished and cohesive band behind her created music that populated every space in the room through complex sound layers.
The audience maintained their dedication even though the late start caused some fans to become restless. Fans filled the venue while wearing Tash’s merchandise and holding her vinyl records. The performance was a slow burn, easing the crowd into a magical night.
Final Thoughts
