Still Woozy Vibes Out in Chicago

Still Woozy recently made his way to one of Chicago’s newest venues, The Salt Shed, located in the heart of Goose Island. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay area, Still Woozy (whose real name is Sven Gamsky) packed the house on a beautiful Saturday night in Chicago. The Love Seat Tour is promoting Still Woozy’s latest album that was released on June 28th titled, Love Seat

Michelle (Connor Hannan)

Michelle started the night off as Still Woozy’s opener. Michelle is a 6 piece group indie/pop group lead by Sofia D’Angelo, Julian Kaufman, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Emma Lee, and Jamee Lockard. The quartet of singers all bring their own strengths when it comes to vocals. Each line up in sync when it comes to their eye-catching choreography. Michelle opened their nine song setlist with “Blissing” and finished it off with “The Bottom.” It’s easy to tell why they were chosen for this tour as they easily fit the calm, groovy vibe that aligns with Still Woozy.

Still Woozy then took the stage to a packed crowd. The stage was filled with his usual greenery to match his vibe — but that chill scene was quickly replaced by an extremely energetic Still Woozy. Using the entirety of the stage, Still Woozy moved all over the place constantly engaging with the crowd. Pulling off a massive twenty-one song setlist, Still Woozy gave the crowd their money’s worth. While playing the majority of his new album, he also was sure to throw in crowd favorites such as “Cooks,” “Habit,” and ending the night with his biggest hit, “Goodie Bag.” The crowd was thrilled to have him back in Chicago and the same could be felt for Woozy himself, as he wore a smile throughout the entire show.

Still Woozy’ was’s show is definitely worth checking out. Be sure to catch one of his upcoming shows here — You won’t regret spending your night vibing out to a chill mood!
