Ari Lennox, the American R&B singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. transformed Brooklyn Paramount into a sanctuary of soul as part of her Vacancy tour on Wednesday, May 27th. Supported by rising R&B artists Lekan and Phabo, Ari captivated the crowd with her signature blend of sultry, powerhouse vocals, matched with the compelling balance of both confidence and vulnerability she exudes in her storytelling.

Taking the stage, immersed in a hotel-inspired set-up which perfectly mirrored that of her January 2026 release, Vacancy, Ari kicked off her performance with the first three tracks off the album — “Mobbin in DC,” “Vacancy,” and “Pretzel.” Between songs, Ari engaged the crowed with personal anecdotes and playful commentary, which increased the feelings of intimacy felt in an otherwise cavernous venue. As her music covers the universal themes of self-worth, growth, and of course, love, her vulnerability and powerful stage presence pulled fans into her world, furthering that strong sense of connection felt at the very first note she sang.

Throughout the night, Ari had fans dancing, singing, and celebrating every note as she engaged with the crowd and encouraged them to sing along to their favorite tracks, including fan favorites “Shea Butter Baby,” “Soft Girl Era,” and “Pressure.” By the end of her performance, it was evident that fans at Brooklyn Paramount felt connected by their collective appreciation for an artist whose vulnerability and empowering self-expression continue to set her apart in today’s R&B landscape.
Don’t miss Ari Lennox on the remainder of her Vacancy tour through June 2026, as she hits her hometown of Washington, D.C. and several other North American spots.
