Saint Motel brought their dreamy Hollywood glamour to a sold-out Brooklyn crowd on Saturday, May 3rd. The American indie pop band from Los Angeles, composed of singer, songwriter, and producer, A. J. Jackson (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Aaron Sharp (lead guitar), Dak Lerdamornpong (bass) and Greg Erwin (drums), are currently on tour in support of their most recent release, Saint Motel & the Symphony in the Sky.

Kicking off the evening was Stolen Gin, a local New York City band known for their high-energy performances and avid improvisation. Following the opening set, Saint Motel took the stage and was accompanied by a string quartet silhouetted behind the immersive stage design. The band kicked off the evening with a rousing rendition of “Puzzle Pieces” from Voyeur. Their set quickly became an interactive experience, with Jackson encouraging the crowd to assist in conducting the songs along with the band.

After making their way through the twelve-song setlist, which included tracks “Fine Wine,” “Get It At Home,” and “Steady Hand,” all off their latest release, the band left the stage, with Jackson reappearing on the venue balcony where he serenaded the crowd. The evening was an interactive and truly unforgettable experience, which transcended the boundaries of a traditional concert.
