Marc Broussard shined bright in the Constellation Room at The Observatory in Santa Ana Friday Night, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the sophomore album, Carencro. His one night show in Santa Ana kept the crowd engaged and entertained. Everyone was anxious to hear the Carencro album live and in its entirety, many songs he had never sang live before as well as a couple of his well known hits!
His soulful style and heart tugging setlist packed the room from the front of the stage to the back of the room . It was an honor to feel the emotion in the music and the intensity of his dedicated fans singing every song. Marc opened with amazing tracks like “Hope for Me Yet,” “The Beauty of Who You Are,” and the heart tugger, “Save Me.” He then belted out other great hits from the album with “The Wanderer,” “Where You Are,” “Come Around,” and “Rocksteady.” His strong vocals and intense presence got stronger as the night progressed, not missing a beat! The song “Lonely Night in Georgia” is a personal favorite of mine and I was so happy he sang it!
Marc presented an amazing show to many of those in attendance both young and old! His music is a timeless treasure and I can see why he has remained in the business for over 20 years! I look forward to future shows not just to shoot but also as a fan. Keep up the great work Marc! Here’s to the next 20 years!
