Real Friends spent their final day of tour in none other than Cleveland, Ohio at The Roxy at Mahall’s on December 1, 2024. As it was the final day of the tour I was expecting Cleveland to show out like they normally do and glad to know I was correct.
This tour consisted of Real Friends, Can’t Swim, Carly Cosgrove and SlowJoy. Definitely was an interesting line up and I was excited to see how it worked and it did work very well considering the whole venue was singing and cheering for all openers before Real Friends came out.
Each band has their own sense of stage presence that can make the room feel out great vibes. These artists know how to make a room move and cry at the same time and since that’s the vibe we’re going for — we love to see it! The lighting was questionable until Real Friends’ set, but regardless, the show was nothing but great and immaculate feels all around. Real Friends really brought the energy with their high energy crowd participation. Cody ripped some really sick jumps in the set making it go from crying to straight up dancing and all around a good time. Seeing them perform is always a great time and a great watch.
With crowd surfing and some moshing during Can’t Swim, this couldn’t have been a better show — especially with Real Friends vocalist Cody Muraro spending two songs directly in the crowd to get a feel for the atmosphere of this show. Cleveland is always one of Real Friends’ favorite shows due to the audience that really shows their appreciation towards them. To hear that is always one of my favorite things due to the fact Cleveland often gets skipped over by other artists. Regardless, it’s nice to be able to have some really cool tours come around.
