As part of their “Running Through Colors” tour, the iconic band Phantogram made their stop at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California this past Thursday. The duo is known for their electronic-pop sound and for their hit songs like “Black Out Days,” “When I’m Small,” “Don’t Move,” and more!
The lights went out and the vibrations took over the room, leading to fans cheering as loud as they could because that could only mean one thing — Phantogram was about to take the stage. Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter, the duo behind Phantogram, really knew how to get their fans amped up and ready for the night with their insane intro. Towards the back of the stage, the two walked out onto risers and the strobe lights started going crazy. They immediately kicked off the show with their hit song “Jealousy,” which had fans jumping and singing along to every word.
I was familiar with Phantogram’s music, but wasn’t sure what to expect live. It’s safe to say they did not disappoint! It was truly an amazing and electric performance that had me and other fans sad when the night came to a close. They utilized every inch of the stage and put on a performance that will be remembered for a long time to come! The duo also made sure to shout out the brave men and women firefighters on the frontlines battling the LA Wildfires that are currently taking place which made me leave with a new-found respect for them. If you get the opportunity to see Phantogram live, take it, you won’t regret it!
