Popularly known as “Switzerland’s Finest Cheese Factory,” Paleface Swiss is currently tearing through cities across the US. The Cursed Tour kicked off on March 20th in Detroit, MI, and will wrap up with its final stop in Chicago. Joining them on this tour are two powerhouse bands: Stick To Your Guns and Nasty.
Paleface Swiss is a widely known band from Zurich, Switzerland, formed in 2017. Fueled by a growing number of fans, positive reviews, and explosive live performances that shake every stage they touch, the band continues to make waves on their current tour. Despite being a somewhat newly-formed band, they’ve been selling out shows across the country — most recently, their show in Los Angeles at The Belasco on April 12th. We finally got to experience Paleface Swiss and it definitely did not disappoint!
The Belasco was full of energy, packed with fans from front to back, leaving barely any room to move. Headbanging metalheads filled every corner, and the air was thick with sweat and excitement as the sold-out crowd shouted as one, ready for the show to burst into chaos. Fans were throwing up devil horns as the band played an extensive setlist with songs from both CURSED and Fear & Dagger. Crowd surfers were everywhere — and of course, the intense circle pits were in full swing! They closed out the night with an encore of “Pain” and “Love Burns” which really was the cherry on top!
The deathcore/metalcore show was an absolute powerhouse, with the band’s tight performance that left no room for error. The venue’s lights were perfectly timed with the music, enhancing every breakdown and blast beat, and pumping up the crowd.
