Meet Me @ The Altar’s Worried Sick Tour ended with a hometown show in Atlanta, GA at the Masquerade’s Altar room. Fans lined up early for this show packed with female powerhouses. Opening was ATL local Caroline Reilly, combining alternative grunge angst with pop star energy. Caroline admitted that she had just two days to prepare after being added to the show late. Fans danced along to songs “June,” “Nightly,” and social media hit, “21.”

New Jersey power punk band Pollyanna played next. Repping their sophomore album Weirdo, their punk energy was undeniable. At one point lead singer Jill Beckett asked the crowd for times they were petty to people in their lives and encouraged it as they began the song “Petty.” The headlining act Meet Me @ The Altar was up next, with new band members in tow.

After cutting ties with Fueled By Ramen, the band has taken time for their mental health, signed with a new label, and created their new EP, Worried Sick, with a deluxe edition released this year. It’s clear the influence this band has in the scene, with offering a safe space for all, including a girly mosh pit. Classic fan favorites like “Now or Never,” “Hit Like A Girl,” and “Say It (To My Face)” got the crowd hyped.

After a fun medley of cover songs, they brought out some of the new album with “Heaven’s Sake,” and “Straight Up (Needy).” Lastly, ending the show with their massive hit “Kool.” Meet Me @ The Altar has ended their Worried Sick tour, but have two make up dates in March for Richmond VA and Raleigh NC due to unpredictable weather that hit the south recently.
