Born in Baskin, Louisiana, Lainey Wilson grew up on a farm in a small town with a deep love for country music. Her passion for music was evident from an early age, as she began writing songs when she was just 9 years old. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, after high school to pursue her dreams — living in a trailer, working tirelessly, performing at various venues and writing songs, gradually building a name for herself. She even bummed electricity and water from the studio owner where she had her camper parked. Perhaps her biggest leap into success came from the TV show Yellowstone, where her music was first featured. She later appeared in season 2 of the show as well. Her popularity skyrocketed with the breakthrough release of her album, Bell Bottom Country, in 2022.

Known for her distinctive voice, authentic songwriting, and blend of traditional and contemporary country sounds, Lainey Wilson has continued to make waves in the industry. She has received several awards and nominations, including winning the Academy of Country Music’s New Female Artist of the Year in 2022 and an induction into The Grand Ole Opry. She holds a trifecta of wins for Best Country Album from the CMAs, ACMs, and Grammy’s. Wilson’s music often reflects her Southern roots and personal experiences, resonating with fans across the country music spectrum and even beyond the genre. Her career continues to thrive as she has recently collaborated with Post Malone, Jelly Roll, HARDY, and many more — including the queen herself, Dolly Parton. Her latest album, Whirlwind, was just released on August 23, 2024. Give it a spin, we promise you’ll be dancin’.
