Jessie Murph Brings Spirit and ‘Sex Hysteria’ to Pittsburgh

On Tuesday August 19, 2025 Jessie Murph brought her Worldwide Hysteria tour to Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and didn’t hesitate to amaze me.

In celebration of her new album Sex Hysteria, Jessie Murph brought the talent and production with her. Her stage setup was a round bed with stairs and a nice wall backdrop in a baby pink to match the vibe of the album, walking out in a smokey bright light on top of the bed to boot. Her backup dancers were also so fun to watch — the chemistry she had with them while doing cheerleading stunts on stage was so insane to see. It made the show so unique due to her cheerleading background — Jessie Murph is definitely a performer in all aspects.

A personal favorite part of the night for myself was when Jessie brought up a little girl named Gracie to help her sing “Pray” and it tugged the heartstrings a ton not only for myself, but I saw around me a lot of fans crying. Jessie played songs off her new album plus some oldies that fans really loved like “How Could You,” “Drunk in The Bathtub,” and “Cowboys and Angels.” She also performed newer songs like “Blue Strips,” “Sex Hysteria” and “Touch Me Like A Gangster.”

Jessie really is big on fan interaction and does a bunch of it to make sure her fans feel seen and loved. She expresses her gratitude for them at any point she can which I find extremely beautiful coming from an artist.  She ended the night before playing her most viral song on Tik Tok “Blue Strips,” but before that she did a little medley of songs and crowd surfed while performing which I thought was so unique especially for a pop/hip hop & country mixed artist.

Jessie Murph is the definition of bravery and creativity in her mixed genre while testing the limits with her sound and shows — while also connecting with her audience through her true story lyrics. This is easily one of the best shows I’ve seen this year. If you have the chance to go see her definitely do it!
