Humanity’s Last Breath Rumbles London

On one of the rare hot days in London, The Dome hosted a night of extreme metal music, headlined by Swedish band Humanity’s Last Breath.

Arcaeon (Daniel Caceiro)

Arcaeon started the evening with a solid performance. Their mix of clean vocals and brutal growls set up the starting expectations quite high and the venue’s air conditioning was struggling to keep up with the crowd’s energy, even more, when the vocalist Stuart Sarre would jump into the centre of the Mosh Pit close to the end of their set.

Beyond Extinction (Daniel Caceiro)

Next up was Beyond Extinction, who delivered a powerful set. The band, with 2 guitar players gives strong support to the presence of the frontman Jasper Harmer, which was pushing the crowd into creating big mosh pits and walls of death across the concert, creating utter chaos for sweaty metalheads.

Heart of a Coward (Daniel Caceiro)

Heart of a Coward clearly was highly expected by the crowd, which had already two great other support sets, and got really agitated when they got into stage. with their djent sound of high-gain, low-pitch guitars and pounding drums. The crowd howled and engaged in playful banter with frontman Kaan between songs.

Humanity’s Least Breath (Daniel Caceiro)

When Humanity’s Last Breath took the stage, the venue’s dark, moody atmosphere perfectly complemented their sound. Frontman Filip Danielsson led the band through tracks like “Väldet,” “Labyrinthian,” and “Abyssal Mouth,” with the crowd in a constant state of mosh pits and headbanging. Highlights included  “Withering” and the crushing “Ocean Drinker,” showcasing the band’s technical skill. The encore, “Glutton,” left the audience wanting more, but the night unfortunately had to end.

In conclusion, it was a very extreme and heavy set of concerts, brought up by 4 great bands doing what they do best: getting the crowd into mosh pits and enjoying the heavier sounds.
