Fletcher took over the Greek Theatre for the first time and captivated everyone in attendance. As someone who’s been to many concerts, believe me when I say, I’ve never seen a show with such dedicated fans singing every single word, sometimes louder than Fletcher! Slayter opened the night with a high energy performance accompanied by her DJ. This was my first time seeing Slayyyter live and I was thoroughly impressed by her performance. She knew how to engage with the audience and keep them entertained throughout her entire set. She has an insane stage presence, utilizing every inch of the stage.
As the lights dimmed and the music started playing, the crowd erupted as it was clear who they were here to see. The sheet dropped and revealed Fletcher, she fully captivated the crowd with her presence and voice, in a way that I’ve never seen before. Opening with her song, “Maybe I Am,” on top of a riser towards the back of a stage with impressive visuals behind her on a big screen. This was my first time seeing Fletcher live and I wasn’t entirely sure how her pop sound would play live but she blew it out of the park with her immersive stage presence and raw vocals, she truly really solidified her icon status, in my personal opinion.
