Shallou brought the house down Tuesday night at the Observatory in Santa Ana with their uniquely amazing Indie Electronic style of music! The energy this duo brought to the packed room was out of this world and kept the crowd jumping. I have always been a fan of electronica and progressive music ,and in that journey I have seen the evolution of Shallou from their 2018 debut album Souls to their most current album In Touch. Simply amazing, they get better and better with each new album!
Knowpoint opened the show with heart pumping beats and remixes that got the crowd excited. His skillful selection of remixes intertwined to create such an amazing half hour set. I instantly became a fan and wanted him to keep playing for another half hour! I even found myself using the music search app Shazam on more than one occasion to search some of his remixes and include it in my own dance playlist! Follow Knowpoint on Instagram @knowpointmusic!
Shallou hit the stage promptly at 8:30pm and everyone in the audience was ready! Opening the show with energetic songs like, “It’s You,” “I Just Wanted to Dance,” and “Save Some Room”. Everyone was dancing! Shallou kept the crowd entertained not just through their music, but also dancing and interacting with the crowd. I’ve always admired bands who interact with their fans, I feel it brings the whole experience to another level. Overall, I was so happy to finally see them live and experience their craftsmanship of music. Knowpoint, you gained a new fan as well! I look forward to catching both at another show sometime, but it can’t be soon enough!
