Dorothy’s Redemption Tour Rolls Through Illinois

Dorothy’s Redemption tour made its way to one of Illinois’ bigger suburban cities Joliet, IL to rock the stage at The Forge. On a beautiful Wednesday evening, fans had no problem lining up outside hours in advance for a front row spot. Coming along as support on the tour was country rock artist Cory Marks.

Dorothy hails from Los Angeles, CA and has been rocking stages since 2014. The band, led by powerhouse vocalist Dorothy Martin, was named by Rolling Stone as a “Band You Need to Know” early in their career, and they’ve continued to prove why with every electrifying performance. She has performed as support for some of the biggest names in rock like Falling In Reverse, Disturbed, Godsmack and more. With a unique sound that blends classic rock with a modern edge blues and metal, Dorothy has built a loyal fanbase through her dynamic sound.

Closing out the show with an encore of “TOMBSTONE TOWN” was the icing on the cake for everyone in attendance. By the end of the night, it was clear that Dorothy’s Redemption Tour was not just about comeback — it was about reaching new heights.
