Black Veil Brides Ooze Metal Charm on Final Stop of Bleeders Tour

Black Veil Brides wrapped up their Bleeders Tour at The Belasco in Los Angeles on Saturday night — and at probably the most appropriate venue in all of LA considering its extravagant, gothic-style architecture and rich history. With supporting acts Creeper, Divine Darkness, and Ghøstkid, the tone for a metal-led, high energy night was set quite quickly. Fans filled the venue early on to catch the opening artists, which is not always common — proving the lineup to be nothing short of stellar.

The members of Black Veil Brides make performing seem effortless — they have a special cohesiveness and feed off one another’s energy, all while maintaining their individuality within the show. Lonny Eagleton has a remarkable way of anchoring the stage with deep bass lines that resonate almost through our earplugs. Christian Como (CC) breaks it down during an incredible drum solo that sends the crowd absolutely bonkers without fail. Jake Pitts and Jinxx are the dynamic duo that infamously play back-to-back and add a true rock-n-roll element to the show. Jinxx also plays violin and piano, adding an unexpected flair to their overall sound. Finally, vocalist Andy Black navigates the stage with confidence and intensity that allows the show to flow seamlessly.

Black Veil Brides always deliver an energetic and interactive experience for fans at every show — This performance exceeded expectations by far. Andy upheld his frontman duties and narrated us through the set with stories of the past — highlighting memories of Warped Tour and igniting nostalgia within the many diehard fans in attendance. The 18-song setlist boasted an array of tracks from albums, both old and new.

Kicking off with “I Am Bulletproof” and “Heart of Fire,” the guys continued with a setlist full of fan favorites. A few notable songs we loved hearing were “Bleeders” (of course), “Wake Up” and “Blackbird” amongst many others. We were in for a treat when Creeper’s frontman, Will Gould, hopped onstage to collaborate on a cover of “Temple of Love” (The Sisters of Mercy). Perhaps the second biggest surprise of the night was hearing “Fallen Angels” as part of the three song encore. Along with “Saviour II” and “In The End,” the band closed out the night with some of their most notoriously loved songs. Confetti and streamers fell as the show came to an end, lighting up the crowd from wall-to-wall.
