I’m Charis Lydia, based in London, UK — with a passion for loud riffs, sweaty stages and the raw energy of live rock shows and festivals. I live for the chaos of the pit & the magic of the spotlight & capturing moments that feel as loud as they sound. Rock, punk, metal, pop, alternative, indie: you name it, I shoot it. I started concert photography as a teenager and I spent my university years shooting underground shows and clubs in London. Years later, not much has changed, but I have managed to shoot in some of the largest venues & festivals across Europe. Despite being a corporate suit during the day, I have a diploma in photography & a heart wired for distortion that lives for live music & storytelling. My motto is that I am always looking for ‘the decisive moment’, one that I can freeze in my camera forever. Fun fact: I speak 9 languages, because why not match the chaos of my lens with a little linguistic madness?
