A Summer Night With Death Cab for Cutie Awaits in San Diego

Death Cab for Cutie are ready for their return to San Diego this summer at fan favorite venue Gallagher Square Petco Park on August 4. The indie kings are touring with various openers featured around the world, and San Diego has scored with Nation of Language to start off the night. Few bands have shaped the indie rock landscape quite like DCFC, and their return to Southern California arrives during an exciting new chapter in their storied career. 

The eight-time GRAMMY-nominated band is celebrating the release of their 11th studio album, I Built You A Tower, their first independent-label release in more than two decades. Since its release, I Built You A Tower has earned praise from both fans and critics alike. Pitchfork described the album as “the proper embrace of their earlier sound,” highlighting the band’s emotionally direct songwriting, memorable hooks, and renewed confidence as a unit.
