Bryce Vine’s Infectious Energy in San Diego

Bryce Vine is starting the year on high with his Hotel California tour, making a stop at San Diego’s Observatory North Park on January 23 2025. The tour is just the start of a fantastic year for LA’s vibe enthusiast as his highly anticipated record Hotel California will finally drop this spring. Vine brought along fellow LA native jayo who promptly kicked off the show with his signature smile and tunes to match.

Self proclaimed young optimist jayo was the perfect match to compliment Vine’s laid back good vibes. Kicking off the evening with catchy tunes paired with real talk in his singles “not my fault” and “iykyk,” jayo took his role of show opener seriously with devoted engagement to the crowd. The room filled quickly and steadily grew louder as the young artist found his way onto every inch of the stage, getting the room to move and dance with each song. The room was full force when jayo concluded his set with popular hit “worst case scenario.”

Bryce Vine took promptly took the stage grinning ear to ear, eager to return to his beloved fanbase that echoed from the front pit all the way to the upper balcony. His newest track “Motel California” opened the show and put the audience in vibe check right away, which they passed with flying colors. Seeing his Sour Patch Kids out in the audience sing every word to the newly released title track fueled the infectious energy for the remainder of the show. He continued into other classics like “Love is a Blessing” and “Sunflower Seeds” while sprinkling in unreleased music from his upcoming album that already resonated with the audience. Each new tune was received opportunity to really let loose with some must-needed dancing. The tunes were irresistible even the bartenders in the back were tapping along to the feel-good soul fuel.  As the evening concluded, Vine pulled out the big guns with his smash hits “La La Land” and my personal favorite, “Drew Barrymore.”
