Baby Got Bashful: Miss Bashful in Brooklyn

To support the release of her new album Glamour Snobby on May 1st, Miss Bashful brought her signature dominance and high energy to Brooklyn Steel on Friday, April 24th. Joined by friends and frequent collaborators Miss Madeline and Luca Eck, both of whom matched her over-the-top confidence and playfulness, Miss Bashful cultivated a club-type atmosphere that kept everyone dancing throughout the night.

Known for her tongue-in-cheek humor, the Mexico City-born, Berlin-based performer had the crowd going wild from the moment she first hit the stage. Joined by Venezuelan performer Santi, fans were treated to provocative yet powerful moments of intricate, intimate, and playful choreography between the two. A lucky fan was also pulled onto the stage to join in on the fun!

Included in Miss B’s setlist were “HUNKA HUNKA,” and “Short King Spring,” tracks which showcase her message of empowerment, self-expression, and humor. Her music made the show feel less like a performance, but moreso a fun night out with friends. Donning stilettos, a tight corset, and sunglasses fixed firmly on her face, Miss B danced freely across the stage, and kept the crowd hyped and dancing to the pulse of her high-voltage sound and persona. What made the night most memorable was not just the phenomenal performance she gave, but rather the community she managed to cultivate through it.
