Aaron Hibell, the English DJ, record producer, composer, and electronic dance music artist brought his Synchronicity tour to Brooklyn Steel on Thursday, April 23. Known for his high-energy performances and minimalist stage design and lighting, Hibell, along with support from Kotier and Rex DeTiger, transfixed the crowd with a stacked set characterized by the dynamic space and sound.

From the moment Hibell stepped onto the stage, he pulled the crowd in with his textured, ambient lighting. As anticipation built, he deepened the evening’s pulse with deliberate, accented beats, matching his sounds to the production. While creating a truly cinematic experience which enhanced his techno/trance tone, he used minimalist lighting (soft strobes with occasional bursts of brightness) to achieve perfect cohesion between sight and sound.

Known for blending tracks together, extending intros/outros, and weaving in unreleased material, Hibell’s immersive and thoughtfully executed setlist included past releases as well as tracks from Synchronicity (2026). Included in the set was his viral remix of Billie Eilish’s “Chihiro,” a powerful reminder that its success highlighted him as one of the most exciting new acts in electronic music since his debut.Be sure to catch the experience that is an Aaron Hibell show as he continues his North America tour through June 2026.
