It’s time for the Dutch festival Best Kept Secret to stop holding their tongue, as they recently dropped a new batch of names for their upcoming June edition. On June 12, 13 and 14, on the Beekse Bergen grounds in Hilvarenbeek, the festival will hold its 12th edition.
The festival, which aims to connect people and cultures through music, recently dropped 20 new acts, bringing the total of names to 90 acts… for now. These range through a wide mix of different acts, with headliners Gorillaz, Jack White and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, indie pop icons Hayley Williams and Ethel Cain, bands like C’est Qui?, NewDad and ∑telle, hiphop acts like De La Soul and MAVI, as well as an eclectic night program with DJs like Ajuma, Ailia & Orson and Dame Area. As one of the 50 most influential festivals in the Netherlands, they also treat us to an extremely solid program of Dutch artists, with Elmer, Hiqpy, Merol and Sef, and tons more artists across the board to be announced in the near future.
These examples don’t even begin to scratch the surface of everything either, with tons of other acts in different genres, connecting fans from all different walks of life through a weekend of music. This also extends to the food, with over 50 food vendors and mini-restaurants that can be found all across the wide festival grounds, conveniently located next to safari park Beekse Bergen. Not that you’ll ever want to leave with such an extraordinarily packed line-up anyway.
