Three Days Grace Bring Heart and Nostalgia to the Sweetest Place on Earth

The Alienation Tour, featuring Three Days Grace, I Prevail, and The Funeral Portrait, stopped at the Sweetest Place on Earth on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Canadian rock veterans Three Days Grace first broke onto the scene in the early 2000s with hits like “I Hate Everything About You” and “Just Like You,” songs that helped cement their place on rock radio for decades. The current lineup features Adam Gontier and Matt Walst sharing vocal duties, alongside Barry Stock on guitar, Brad Walst on bass and backing vocals, and Neil Sanderson on drums, keyboards, and backing vocals. In 2025, the band released their latest album Alienation, which produced popular tracks including “Mayday” and “Apologies.”

It’s been a long winter in eastern Pennsylvania, but fans packed the Giant Center in Hershey for a sold-out arena show. Fans young and old gathered to sing favorites such as “I Hate Everything About You,” “Just Like You,” “Apologies,” and “Animal I Have Become.” Throughout the arena, fans could be seen dancing in the hallways while belting out lyrics from both older hits and newer songs. After months of being kept inside due to the brutal winter, everyone was ready to let loose. The energy could be felt all over the arena that evening.

The band matched the fans’ excitement in the arena that night. Although Adam rejoined the band in 2024, fans were still eagerly talking about their excitement about seeing him back on stage with Three Days Grace. His vocals soared through the arena while he paced the stage, drawing loud singalongs from the crowd. His stage presence kept fans engaged throughout the night as he interacted with the audience nonstop.

Dual vocalist Matt brought the same level of intensity with crisp, clean vocals and constant interaction with the crowd. Brad’s bass work kept the momentum moving through many of the band’s heavier songs, with bass lines that could be felt throughout the arena — personally one of my favorite things to experience at concerts.

Neil’s performance on the drums stood out throughout the night. He frequently twirled his drumsticks while never missing a beat, all while delivering backing vocals, an impressive skill while keeping time for the band. Barry on guitar kept the rhythm driving forward with powerful riffs that carried many of the songs throughout the set. The band is made up of an incredible mix of talented musicians, and it’s exactly the reason they continue to sell out arenas to this day.

The entire production setup was truly mesmerizing. The lighting design filled the arena with vibrant colors, with a ring of overhead lights above the stage and dramatic backlighting that gave the performance extra depth. The stage also featured an extended platform, allowing the singers to step closer to the crowd and interact with fans. At one point in the set, the band shifted into an acoustic setup that mimicked the feeling of a campfire moment. The overall production was impressive and visually captivating.

I Prevail (Jennifer Racho)

Direct support included I Prevail, a metalcore band from Michigan, who brought a heavier edge to the evening’s lineup. Their set was darker in tone, lit by bursts of pyro and deep red lighting that filled the arena. The band delivered crushing riffs and aggressive lyrics through songs including “Violent Nature,” “Self Destruction,” and “Gasoline.” Lead vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe’s voice echoed throughout the arena, his vocals coming through raw and unfiltered. The set drove the crowd into a frenzy and set the stage perfectly for Three Days Grace to take over in front of a pumped-up audience.

The Funeral Portrait (Jennifer Racho)

The Funeral Portrait opened the night in Hershey. Frontman Lee Jennings, sporting his signature green mullet, tore up the stage with constant movement, fan interaction, and his signature vocals. From small venues to now performing in arenas, the band is clearly making its way toward becoming a major force in rock. Their setlist included songs such as “Stay Weird,” “Suffocate City,” and “Holy Water.” The band’s connection with fans is exactly why they continue to grow in popularity. At one point during the set, they lit up the entire venue in a sea of cellphone lights, a moment that was truly something to take in.

From the opening moments with The Funeral Portrait, to the crushing set from I Prevail and the powerhouse performance by Three Days Grace, the Alienation Tour delivered a night packed with unforgettable moments. Fans at the Giant Center in Hershey were treated to a lineup that showcased the power of modern rock while celebrating the legacy of one of the genre’s most recognizable bands. With a sold-out crowd singing along from start to finish, it was clear that the Alienation Tour is leaving its mark on arenas across the country.

The alienation tour continues throughout the year till late November. You can check out the dates at threedaysgrace.com for more information.
