Lights Ignites Chicago with Electrifying Performance at Outset

Lights’ performance at Outset in Chicago on May 27, 2025, as part of her A(Live) Again Tour, was a lit up the northern neighborhood of Lincoln Park in Chicago with her electrifying performance. The sold-out event featured KiNG MALA as the opening act, setting the stage for an evening of vibrant music and engaging performances.

Outset is one of Chicago’s newest venues, and provides an intimate setting with state-of-the-art acoustics and lighting. The venue’s design includes a wrap-around balcony and a spacious general admission floor, ensuring excellent views of the stage from all areas.

Opening the night was KiNG MALA, whose unique sound and confident stage presence immediately drew in the audience. With standout tracks like “She Calls Me Daddy” and “Cult Leader,” she made a strong impression and set the perfect tone to start the evening.

To close out the night, Lights took the stage and brought out her infectious energy to Outset’s sold out crowd of her loyal fans. Delivering a powerful set that blended her signature synth-pop style with emotional vocals. She performed a mix of fan favorites and songs from her latest album A6, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience. With an amazing stage presence between singing, playing the guitar and switching over to the synth, the crowd was fully engaged, singing, dancing, and feeding off the energy from the stage. The multitalented Lights put on an incredible show with a massive 20 song setlist including hits from new and old such as “Okay Okay,” “Love Me,” and “Up We Go.”

Together, Lights’ dynamic performance, KiNG MALA’s impressive opening act, and the intimate atmosphere of the Outset venue made for a truly memorable night. Fans left the show energized and reminded of the power of live music.
