Modern meets retro-grunge rockers Return To Dust dropped another new track, “Strangers” from their upcoming LP today. With a delicate acoustic intro, this song fulfills an emotional void revolving around decisional heartache — amongst a carousel of sentiments that comes along with that. As heavier chords creep into the chorus, the track is carried out by melancholic yet nostalgic vocals. Their sound is something special — a genre that has no defined boundaries, yet influenced by a prominent roster of artists including Deftones, System Of A Down, Alice In Chains, Cage The Elephant, Nirvana and so many more.

The 11-track self-titled album is confirmed to be released on May 3rd and has us anxiously awaiting to hear in its entirety. The band’s previously released songs, “Bad News,” “Live Like This,” and “Belly Up,” have proven modernizing classic grunge is entirely attainable — and in a tasteful and reverent manner. The accelerated success of “Belly Up” has racked up almost 1.3 million plays on Spotify alone — only validating our hunch for a very promising release and future path ahead for the rock quad.

You can catch Return To Dust this spring at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple in May. Pre-orders for the vinyl and a special merch bundle are available here. You can also pre-save the album via your preferred streaming platform here.
