Yungblud Drops New Single “Lovesick Lullaby” — and It’s a Full-On British Rager

Yungblud is back with “Lovesick Lullaby,” the second single from his upcoming (and still unreleased) album. After the longer, emotional “Hello Heaven, Hello,” this new track hits with a much shorter runtime, but with a seriously bigger punch.

Dom himself calls it “British af” and a “fucking rager,” and honestly, he’s not wrong. The track is loud, proud, and full of chaotic energy. The music video dives deep into classic British culture, featuring everything from dogs and pigeons, to beers. It’s raw, messy, and a full-on celebration of where he comes from — not just in the sound but also in the gritty, down-to-earth vibe of the visuals.

In his own words:

“Making this song was a fucking party and you can hear that on the recording. [I tried to] let my subconscious do a lot of the talking and then make sense of my words the following afternoon in a kitchen, hungover, eating fish and chips with a cup of tea.

I’ve been on a journey trying to find meaning in different places all over the world, for which I am forever grateful, but it felt as though my feet left the ground a little too much and I had to bring myself back… to British music, to British art and culture.”

Lovesick Lullaby” taps into those big old-school British vibes, throwing together punk, a splash of 90s chaos, and a massive dose of pure energy.

Early reactions online are showing that Dom’s shift in style is hitting all the right notes – not just with his usual crowd, but with a wider mix of listeners. “Lovesick Lullaby” seems to be bringing in a bigger age range of fans, pulling older generations into the Yungblud world too.

And if Dom’s predictions are right, this song might just end up being the anthem of the summer.
